The Maccabiah: An Alternative Visual History

A special project presented at Israel Design Week. I received the poster for the 9th Maccabiah, originally designed by Dan Reisinger, and created a visual response to it through a motion poster. Using the original poster as my starting point, I reanalyzed the iconic running figure and incorporated archival imagery from 1973—conveying the sharp transition between everyday routine and the sense of survival inherent to living in Israel.
